Les catégories présentes lors de nos championnats sont celles reprises des différents championnat du Monde, d’Europe et nationaux.

Elles sont regroupées en 4 grandes famille de catégories, une cinquième famille regroupe des catégories arrivées récemment dans les championnats de barbe et moustache.

1. Moustache Naturelle / Natural Moustache

[FR] Laisser la moustache pousser au naturel. Plus c’est naturel, mieux c’est. Pas de boucles serrées. Tous les poils dépassant 1,5 cm du coin de la bouche doivent être rasés. *La moustache peut être entretenue, mais sans produits coiffants.

[EN] Moustache as it grows and left natural. The more natural the better. No closed curls. All hair growing from more than 1.5 cm past the corner of the mouth must be shaved. *The moustache may be maintained but without styling aids

Dali

2. Moustache Dali / Dali Moustache

[FR] Cheveux fins, pointes recourbées vers le haut. Les poils dépassant les commissures des lèvres doivent être rasés. Les pointes ne doivent pas dépasser le niveau des sourcils. *Les produits coiffants sont autorisés.

[EN] Slender with the tips curled upward. Hairs growing from beyond the corner of the mouth must be shaved. The tips may not extend above the level of the eyebrows. *Styling aids permitted

Anglaise

3. Moustache Anglaise / English Moustache

[FR] Fines. Les poils s’étendent vers l’extérieur à partir du milieu de la lèvre supérieure. Leurs extrémités peuvent être légèrement relevées. Les poils qui dépassent les commissures des lèvres doivent être rasés. *Les produits coiffants sont autorisés .

[EN] Slender. The hairs extend outward from the middle of the upper lip. The tips may be slightly raised. Hairs growing from beyond the corner of the mouth must be shaved. *Styling aids permitted

Impériale

4. Moustache Impérial / Imperial Moustache

[FR] Petits poils touffus aux pointes recourbées. Les poils dépassant des commissures des lèvres doivent être rasés. *Les produits coiffants sont autorisés

[EN] Small and bushy with the tips curled upward. Hairs growing from beyond the corner of the mouth must be shaved. *Styling aids permitted

Chinoise

5. Moustache Chinoise / Chinese Moustache (Fu Manchu)

[FR] Menton rasé, moustache laissée pousser jusqu’à 2 cm maximum au-delà et en dessous de l’extrémité de la lèvre supérieure. Pointes longues et plaquées vers le bas. *L’utilisation d’aides est autorisée

[EN] Chin shaved with moustache allowed to start to grow up to a maximum of 2 cm beyond and below the end of the upper lip. Tips long and pulled down. *Aids are allowed

6. Moustache Hongroise / Hungarian Moustache

[FR] Poils épais et fournis. Les poils s’étendent vers l’extérieur à partir du milieu de la lèvre supérieure. Tous les poils dépassant de plus de 1,5 cm la commissure des lèvres doivent être rasés. *Les produits coiffants sont autorisés

[FR] Conception et stylisme de la moustache libres. Toutes les moustaches ne répondant pas aux critères des autres catégories peuvent concourir dans celle-ci. Les poils dépassant de plus de 1,5 cm la commissure des lèvres doivent être rasés. *Les produits de coiffage sont autorisés

[EN] Free design and styling of the moustache. All moustaches not meeting the criteria for other categories may compete in this category. All hair growing from more than 1.5 cm past the corner of the mouth must be shaved. *Styling aids permitted

8. Bouc Naturel / Natural Goatee

[FR] Poils du visage uniquement sur le menton, la lèvre supérieure et la lèvre inférieure. La barbe et la moustache peuvent être stylisées, mais sans accessoires. Une zone rasée de près d’au moins 4 cm de large (la largeur d’une lame de rasoir) doit être présente entre la racine des cheveux et la barbe. L’utilisation d’accessoires est interdite. *La moustache n’est pas obligatoire .

[EN] Facial Hair grown only on chin, upper and lower lip. Beard and moustache may be styled but without aids. Must be clean shaven section at least 4 cm wide (the width of a razor blade) between the onset of the head hair and the beard. Aids are not allowed. *Moustache not required

[FR] Toutes les Barbes sans menton uniquement. *Les aides ne sont pas autorisées..

Mousquetaire

11. Mousquetaire / Musketeer

[FR] Moustache longue et fine. Les poils peuvent commencer à pousser jusqu’à 1,5 cm au-delà de l’extrémité de la lèvre supérieure. Barbe courte et pointue. *L’utilisation d’aides est autorisée

[EN] Moustache long and slender. Hairs are allowed to start growing from up to maximum of 1.5 cm beyond the end of the upper lip. Beard small and pointed. *Aids are allowed

Impériale

La moustache ne doit pas être différenciée de la barbe ni coiffée. La barbe ne doit pas être recourbée vers l’intérieur à la base. *Aucun produit coiffant n’est autorisé

+ 60 ans

19. Barbe plus de 60 ans / Beard over 60 years old

[FR] La barbe doit pousser naturellement. Plus c’est naturel, mieux c’est. La moustache ne doit pas être éclaircie. La barbe ne doit pas être recourbée vers l’intérieur à la base.

Aucun produit coiffant n’est autorisé. Seuls les concurrents âgés de 60 ans et plus peuvent participer à cette catégorie. Aucune restriction de longueur n’est imposée.

[EN] The beard appears as it grows naturally. The more natural the better. The moustache may not be highlighted. The beard may not be curled under at the bottom.

*No styling aids permitted. Only competitors that are 60 years old and greater may compete in this category. There are no length restrictions for this category.

Moustache Stylisée

[FR] La moustache se distingue de la barbe, mais les poils ne doivent pas dépasser 1,5 cm au-delà du coin de la bouche. La moustache peut être stylisée selon les styles Dali, anglais, hongrois et impérial. La barbe est laissée au naturel, au gré de sa pousse. Plus elle est naturelle, mieux c’est. *L’utilisation de produits coiffants est autorisée pour la moustache. Aucun produit coiffant n’est autorisé pour la barbe.

Barbe Style Barbier

30. Barbe Complète Style Barbier / Full Beard Barber Style

[FR] Barbe complète taillée, courte au niveau de la racine des cheveux et rasée au niveau du cou. L’entretien de la barbe se fait avec une petite quantité d’huile à barbe, sans produits coiffants.

*La moustache peut être coiffée de façon classique, conformément aux catégories de moustaches. Les produits coiffants sont autorisés uniquement pour la moustache.

[EN] Full beard cut into shape, kept short at the hairline to the hair on the head and shaved at the neck. The full beard can be cared for with small amounts of beard oil, but without styling aids.

*The moustache can be styled in a classic style according to the moustache classes. Styling Aids permitted only for the moustache

[EN] Natural looking Moustache. Participants must use organic hair or natural-looking synthetic hair. The Moustache must be attached to the face, and the method of attachment should not be visible. *Grooming product is permitted

Moustache Créative

[FR] Moustache « Fantaisie ». La moustache créative doit être collée au visage ou pendre de la tête. Elle doit rester en place sans intervention manuelle.

[EN] « Fantasy » Moustache. The creative moustache should be glued to the face or hang from the head. It should stay in place without manual intervention.
